The IPA tasting is the number one way that FLP raises money for the beneficiaries. Breweries and distributors have donated the beer present at the tasting which allows all tasting glass sales to go directly back to the shelters. At least 10 IPAs are featured each year in the tasting. IPA tasting packages are $10-$12 and include 3 oz. tastes and a take home cup (glass and Silipint options).
All beverage vendors have a drink available for purchase that part of the purchase price goes back to the festival beneficiaries. This gives attendees an option to donate back to the beneficiaries throughout the event.
"Drinks for Dogs" was a new campaign launched at For the Love of Pets 2018.
This campaign requires each beverage vendor not participating in the IPA tasting to place one item on their menu that $1 of each sale goes back to the event. This gives attendees an option to donate back to the beneficiaries throughout the event.
